Indiana Republicans host early voting rallies

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The November election is less than one month away and on Tuesday Indiana Republicans worked to get out the vote.

Organizers called it their Experience and Transparency bus tour. Tuesday morning, candidates and supporters spent time in Noblesville for an early vote rally.

Secretary of State Connie Lawson says it’s always an important time for Hoosiers.

“It just reminds folks that the election is a very short time away and it is important to participate,” Lawson said. “We want to make sure that we get as many voters out as possible and even though those people who aren’t here will be able to see this and understand election day is 21 days from today.”

Another rally will be held in downtown Indianapolis on Wednesday at the City-County Building at noon. Organizers plan to travel to 30 counties by Election Day. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
