ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) – Anderson police, Indiana State Police and other agencies were involved in a manhunt Tuesday afternoon.
24-Hour News 8’s news partners at The Herald Bulletin say the manhunt took place near a wooded area behind Hoosier Park, that’s on the south side of Anderson.
After more than two hours the search was called off.
Officers were called to the Hoosier Woods Apartments for trouble with a person involving domestic battery. Officers arrived and Jermaine Hood, 20, fled on foot to a wooded area behind the apartments and Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.
Officers were unable to catch Hood.
A warrant was issued for Hood’s arrest. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact the Anderson Police Department.
