INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Several clergy men and women led a diverse group in prayer Saturday utilizing what they say is the most powerful weapon to solve problems plaguing communities worldwide.

Hundreds of people attended the “Community Mass Prayer” at Washington Community Park. The crowd filled the basketball courts with song, signs and spirituality.

“Whatever our ills are in the world, they can be solved if we would believe God and work in that area,” Bishop Raymond Keith of The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ said.

Organizers said the event was to be focused on prayers for peace in Indianapolis, youth in the city, families, political leadership, members of public safety and those impacted by the Ebola outbreak worldwide. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
