INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IMPD officers are investigating three separate shooting incidents, in which four people were hurt late Friday evening into early Saturday morning.
Police say the first shooting happened at 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 9300 block of 42nd Street. Police say a 23-year-old man was shot in the chest, then went to a friend’s home for help. The man was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.
Just after midnight, police were called to the BP gas station at 38th Street and Fall Creek Parkway on a report that a woman had been shot. Officials say she was stable and was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. Detectives have not released a description of a suspect and no one has been taken into custody.
Around 12:30 Saturday morning, two women were shot outside Riff Raff’s bar on the east side. Police responded to the 2400 block of English Avenue, where they found the women. One woman was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi and the other went to IU Health Methodist Hospital.
Police are still investigating the shooting incidents.
