Vehicle strikes pedestrian in Hendricks County

LIZTON, Ind. (WISH) – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Lizton just before 4 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the incident happened on Summit Court and West County Road 625 North in Hendricks County.

The victim was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital. Their condition was not immediately known.

Police arrested one person, but did not say what for. However, police believe alcohol is a result of the incident.
