Franklin police investigating weekend home break-in

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) — Police in Franklin are investigating after a home break-in this weekend.

Officers say a homeowner got back to his house in the 300 block of Johnson Avenue Saturday evening and found two men in his home.

The homeowner described the intruders as white males wearing dark clothing, work boots, coverings over their faces and white gloves with pink fingertips. The men were described as approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and 5 feet 6 inches tall with athletic builds.

The homeowner said the men ran out of the home and left in a possibly early 1990 model white Ford Escort.
