Red Gold Tip: Slow Cooker Clean Up with Liners

It happens to us all, burnt or stuck on food in your slow cooker.  Cheesy dips are great to keep warm in the slow cooker, but let’s face it – they aren’t much fun to clean up.  If your cooker has a removable insert like this one, you can soak with hot soapy water to help loosen the mess before scrubbing.  But if you want to avoid the mess altogether – use a heat resistant liner like these.  Clean up is as simple as remove and toss.  Don’t have liners?  Try using non-stick cooking spray before adding your ingredients.  It will make any burnt food release easier when cleaning.
