The Pacers continue to hurt on the injury front.
Pacers head coach Frank Vogel told the media Monday afternoon that David West will sit out for the remainder of the week while nursing a sprained ankle. George Hill and C.J. Watson remain several weeks away from a return.
Rodney Stuckey, however, is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. He re-injured his foot on Saturday night against the Atlanta Hawks. Vogel said this second injury is a tendon strain; they do not expect Stuckey to be out for an extended period of time.
“I hate being injured,” said Stuckey. “I hate not being able to be out there playing with my teammates; it’s tough. At the same time, I need to be very cautious about my body, need to make sure I’m healing right.”
Oddly enough, he thinks the second injury helped him heal from the first. He said his foot feels looser after injuring it Saturday night.
