BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – Officials say Indiana University men’s basketball player Devin Davis will soon be released from IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Davis is expected to continue his rehabilitation closer to home in Indianapolis.
“He is very alert and a couple of weeks ahead of where they thought he would be,” said Devin Davis, Sr.
Police say Davis was injured last Saturday, when he was hit by a vehicle driven by freshman teammate, Emmitt Holt, 18.
Police said Davis was hit after he exited the vehicle at 17th and Indiana Avenue near the IU Athletics facilities.
