WISH-TV and Colts to honor military personnel

Military Appreciation Day Ribbon

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – WISH-TV is teaming up with the Indianapolis Colts to dedicate the Sunday, November 16 game against the New England Patriots as “Salute to Service,” honoring our military personnel.

This military appreciation game will include on-field recognition of local servicemen and women, as well as opportunities for fans to show their appreciation.

“WISH-TV is proud to partner with the Colts to honor the service and sacrifice of all members of our armed forces,” said Les Vann, WISH-TV General Manager.

24-Hour News 8 anchors and reporters along with volunteers from the Colts’ Junior Cheer program will distribute camouflage ribbons outside the gates of Lucas Oil Stadium from 6:30 p.m. until kick-off at 8:30 p.m.

In addition, the Colts will honor veterans, active duty military members and family members of fallen soldiers from the field.
