Police searching for armed robbery suspect in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. — Officers are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery at the Taylorsville branch of Centra Credit Union.

According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners, The Columbus Republic, the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. A K-9 unit from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the search.

The credit union, located at 11700 U.S. 31, is right across from Edinburgh Premium Outlets. The branch is open on Sundays.

No suspect description was available as of Sunday night.
