Winter weather advisory takes effect Sunday evening

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A winter weather advisory will go into effect starting at 5 p.m. Sunday until 9 a.m. Monday.

Areas south of I-70 will see the biggest possibility of snow with predictions of 3 inches up to 5 inches. Indianapolis could see 2-3 inches of snow.

The snow could start falling in the north west part of the state after noon. Central Indiana will see snow fall begin around 3 p.m. and could last until Monday morning.

For the Colts vs. Patriots game on Sunday night, temperatures will be in the low 30′s, according to the Forecast 8 team.
