New, non-stop flight announced at IND

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There is be a new, non-stop flight in and out of Indianapolis International Airport.

Tuesday morning, leaders at Indianapolis International Airport announced its newest airline, Allegiant Airlines, is adding another new route.

The new flight is direct from Indy to the Big Easy.

Allegiant announced last week, they will offer nonstop trips to St. Petersburg, Orlando and Punta Gorda, Florida and Las Vegas also starting in February.

The route to New Orleans is a little different.
