Man wanted for murder in Detroit caught by IMPD

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man wanted for murder in Michigan was arrested in Indianapolis this week.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said on Wednesday detectives with their Violent Crime Unit were told 50-year-old Frederick Biles may have fled to Indianapolis after a murder in Detroit.

That same day, detectives found Biles on the north side of Indianapolis and took him into custody.

Police say Biles was booked into the Marion County Jail.
