INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two women were taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after the car they were in crashed, went airborne, and hit a power pole 15 feet off the ground.
Police were called to the 2300 block of West Raymond Street on the city’s west side just after midnight.
Both women were taken to the hospital after the crash — they were alert and complaining of pain.
Witnesses tell police the car was going east on Raymond at a high rate of speed. One witness estimated the vehicle was going 90 miles per hour.
Police believe the driver may have been drinking.
