Downtown building collapses in Summitville

SUMMITVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A building collapsed on Monday afternoon in downtown Summitville.

According to 24-Hour New 8’s news partners at the Herald Bulletin the collapse happened around 12:10 p.m. The building reportedly collapsed into a downtown street near Mill and Main streets.

Police closed off the area to clear the scene.
