Tornado sirens malfunction

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Boone County Sheriff’s Department report tornado sirens were activated around 11:30 Sunday night, however there was no severe weather and no emergency.

The sheriff”s department explains this was due to a malfunction in the warning siren system. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
