Winter items donated for the homeless

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Some people don’t have enough to eat for Thanksgiving, while others don’t even have warm clothes this winter.

For the fourth year Horizon House is trying to change that.

The Indianapolis organization held a donation drive-thru Thursday, asking for new or gently used winter items.

Organizers spent two hours Thursday collecting winter items like thermal socks, coats and blankets.
