Cop impersonator arrested in Indiana

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – A Kentucky man arrested in Indiana faces charges for impersonating a police officer.

Police stopped 33-year-old Andrew Glover in Jeffersonville, for driving while intoxicated. He told troopers he was a detective with the Louisville police department.

Glover was also in possession of a police scanner, two hand guns and a police badge.

Police checked with the Louisville Metro Police Dispatch and found he was not a sworn police officer with the department.

Glover was arrested and charged with OWI, impersonating a police officer and possession of a police radio.
