INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – According to State Police, light precipitation caused slick spots on interstates around Indianapolis Tuesday morning.
Troopers responded to more than 75 crashes, with at least 30 of those involving personal injury.
The most affected areas were south and east of downtown Indianapolis.
Police say the roads were wet, then temperatures dropped, causing slick conditions.
The worst stretches of interstate included I-65 on the south side between I-465 and Greenwood, I-74 on the southeast side and I-465 along the south side.
