BENTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A Fowler man was found dead after a rollover crash Thursday.

A Benton County farmer found Dylan Treadway, 22, ejected from his vehicle around 8 a.m. Benton County Sheriff Butch Pritchett says Treadway’s car was found roughly 40 yards into a cornfield located on County Road 300 North, about 10 miles outside Fowler.

Pritchett believes the car was traveling too fast when the driver lost control and rolled multiple times into the field, ejecting the driver. Treadway was pronounced dead at the scene by the Benton County coroner.

Pritchett said Treadway was not wearing a seatbelt. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
