Names released in deadly Shelby Co. crash

EDINBURGH, Ind. (WISH) — Police released the names of those involved in a crash on Monday afternoon that left one person dead and two others seriously hurt.

The crash happened along the northbound lanes of I-65 near the 80-mile marker, which is the State Road 252 exit.

According to police a 2001 Ford F-350 went off the road and flipped multiple times. Three people were ejected from the truck. 37-year-old Christopher Eason from Freetown, Indiana died as a result of the crash.

Two juveniles, ages 12 and 10, were airlifted for treatment. One was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health the other was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital.
