Police seek help identifying gas station robber

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) — Lawrence Police Department hopes the public can help identify a man who robbed a gas station the morning of Nov. 20.

Police officials said the man went into the Thornton’s gas station, 7200 Pendleton Pike, around 6 a.m. that day, demanding cash and cigarettes. He implied he had a gun. He also went behind the counter to take items from the store.

Lawrence Police provided a surveillance image of the man, which is attached to this story.

Anyone with information about the man should contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477). People can also text INDYCS plus the tip to 274637. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be able to receive a $1,000 reward if the tip leads to a felony arrest.
