Crews respond to north side building fire

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Officials were called to a building fire at the 1900 block of East 46th Street late Sunday evening.

Just before midnight Sunday, a passerby reported seeing heavy black smoke coming from the building on the corner of 46th Street and Norwaldo Avenue.

Crews arrived on the scene minutes later and began putting out the the fire.

Damage to the building was estimated to be around $125,000.
