INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Mayor Greg Ballard will join the Indianapolis Public Library and Indy Reads to unveil a program to put books in the hands of Indy children this holiday season.
As a part of the “Jingle Books” program, parents will be able to pick up free books at all Indianapolis Public Library locations and at the Indy Reads Books location at 911 Massachusetts Avenue.
Gift wrapping is also available on site. Books can be picked up Dec. 16 through Dec. 23.
Gently-used children’s books can also be donated at those locations.
The new initiative will be announced officially at a press conference Tuesday.
