INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Detectives in Indianapolis said on Wednesday they have a arrested a teenager in connection to a deadly shooting this week.
Police arrested a 17-year-old male after 21-year-old Darius Rose was shot around 6 p.m. Monday on Roache and Martin Luther King streets. Rose was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and later died of his injuries while in surgery.
Police say the 17-year-old, who has not been identified, has been preliminarily charged with murder, robbery and dangerous possession of a firearm by a child. He was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

The shooting on Roache Street was one of three in Indianapolis Monday night. The shootings happened within an hour of each other.
