Sellout for Colts-Bengals means no blackout
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – The Colts-Bengals wild-card game Sunday is a sellout, meaning it will be televised locally.
Thursday’s announcement by the Colts came before the NFL’s 72-hour deadline. A year ago, the league gave teams extensions on ticket sales to avoid a blackout.
According to the NFL, a sellout does not mean every single seat is sold. A limited number of tickets are available for Sunday, including those tickets returned by the Bengals.
Indianapolis (11-5) defeated Cincinnati (10-5-1) during the season, 27-0 on Oct. 19.
