Body found in Sullivan County field identified

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana State Police have confirmed a body found in Sullivan County is that of 20-year-old Tiffanie Adams.

Adams, from Sullivan, Indiana, was reported missing on Nov. 7 of last year.

She was last seen walking from her father’s home on North Broad Street in Sullivan to her mother’s house, nearly one block away.

On Dec. 30, a farmer found Adams’ body in a cornfield. Authorities were able to identify her body using dental records.

Police say Adams was seven months pregnant when she disappeared.

Her death has been ruled a homicide.
