Drivers report eggs, rocks tossed at cars

RIPLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — Drivers in Ripley County have reported multiple instances of eggs and rocks being thrown at cars at the end of December, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, The Herald Tribune in Batesville, reports.

Drivers reported the problems on Dec. 23, primarily in the evening. The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office told the newspaper the items were thrown at cars around State Road 129 and Highway 48 in the Delaware area, along State Road 229 in the Ballstown area and around Highway 48 and Finks Road outside Napoleon.

One of the reports to police indicated a rock that was thrown broke through a car window and hit a driver in the arm.
