HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – According to Duke Energy, there were more thousands of customers without power Friday morning.
The outage in both Hamilton County and Boone County was reported just before 7 a.m. Friday. As of 9:25 a.m., about 5,000 customers were without power. By about an hour later, that number was cut to about 200 customers without power. Since then, all customers have been restored.
Duke Energy officials said the outage was due to equipment failure on a power line.
