INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Former Alaskan governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin posted a New Year’s Day message on her Facebook page that has prompted thousands of comments and a debate about the treatment of dogs.
Palin’s post appeared to try to spread the message that people should make their own stepping stones on the path of life, but it instead ignited angry comments about the safety of someone standing on a dog’s back.
Here’s a look at the post:
Some of the comments defended Palin and her son, saying the dog appeared happy and unharmed. Others were concerned about spine and internal injuries.
