Indy’s tiger cub discovers snow

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Cold, snowy days are perfect for romping around outside – if you’re a tiger cub.

Zoya discovered snow for the first time this week. The Indianapolis Zoo shared a video on Tuesday showing the tiger cub playing around outside.

Zoya was born last July and is now nearly 6 months old. There is no set schedule for when Zoya and her mother, Andrea, will be outside this winter.

The young cub is still acclimating to her outdoor environment. Officials at the zoo say it will take a while to work up to being outside for long periods of time.
