LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police say a traffic stop Thursday led to the discovery of four meth labs on the same property.

Officers stopped 42-year-old Mark Landes as he was leaving a house in the 2300 block of Butler Street on the southeast side of town.

After getting consent from the resident, they found two active meth labs in the shed in the backyard, another lab in the backyard and a fourth meth lab inside his bedroom closet.

As of late Friday night, Landes was in the Tippecanoe County Jail on multiple meth-related preliminary charges. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
