Rowley sentenced in 1980 cold case murders

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – A man who admitted to Vigo County cold case murders heard his sentence on Monday.

Last month Harry Rowley admitted to killing Lucinda Farmer and Mary Quillen on July 4 of 1980. They were shot to death behind their apartment building on North 14th Street in Terre Haute.

Police believe the killings had to do in part with Rowley’s car.

WISH-TV News sister station WTHI News reports Rowley was sentenced to two 30 year sentences that will run concurrent to his sentence he is currently serving in California.

Rowley is serving life without parole for two killings in the Long Beach area of California.
