Fishers celebrates Winnie the Pooh Day

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – Sunday is national Winnie the Pooh Day, and Fishers decided to celebrate the cuddly bear.

The event includes indoor and outdoor games and education about the animals featured as characters in Winnie the Pooh. Some of these include Pin the Tail on Eeyore, Honey Pot Toss and Piglet’s Play Area for toddlers.

This national holiday is celebrated on A.A. Milne’s birthday, the author of the children’s story.

Winnie the Pooh Day is free for families and is at the Cumberland Park Building at 10580 Cumberland Rd. from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
