Monroe County manhunt ends
MONROE CO., Ind. (WISH) – A manhunt that began Friday afternoon in Monroe County has ended.
According to Indiana State Police officials, 23-year-old Tyler Verhines was spotted going 89 mph in a 55 mph zone Friday morning, which momentarily turned into a vehicle pursuit.
State Police say Verhines was captured early Sunday morning.
Verhines was found and arrested at a Motel 6 on North Walnut Street in Bloomington.
Police say Verhines also has a warrant on a previous charge of resisting law enforcement in Lawrence County.
