INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Columbus man was arrested Saturday, after police say a  homeowner found him intoxicated in his yard.

According to a Columbus Police spokesman, police arrested Lloyd T. Hazelwood, 50, around 3:45 p.m. in the 200 block of North Gladstone Avenue.

Police say Hazelwood was taken to a local hospital where he became belligerent, threatening to harm police and hospital staff and grabbing an officer’s shirt collar, 24-Hour News 8’s news partners at The Republic report.

He was arrested for public intoxication, resisting law enforcement, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
