Indy Yoga Movement is a non-profit dedicated to bringing yoga to schools in central Indiana. They’ll hold their 2nd annual Indy Yoga Movement Gala on Friday at the Indianapolis Art Center.

Indy Yoga Movement is a non-profit dedicated to bringing yoga to schools in central Indiana such as Pike High School, Broad Ripple High School, Warren Central High School, Fishers High School and Sand Creek Intermediate. These students are learning how to focus on their breath while physically moving through yoga postures during guided instruction. They also learn meditation skills to help improve their ability to focus in school and better handle the stresses of social and academic pressure. Funds raised through the gala will allow us to expand into more public schools.
