INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police were looking on the city’s southeast side Tuesday afternoon for a driver who they say left the scene of a crash involving a school bus.

According to IMPD, it happened at East Southport Road and South Arlington Avenue a little after 4 p.m.

Dispatchers say the collision involved a school bus and another vehicle. It wasn’t immediately clear if there were any students on board the bus at the time of the crash, but police say no injuries were reported.

After the crash, police say the driver of the vehicle that hit the bus took off on foot. Officers set up a perimeter in the area to look for that individual. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
