DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A Delaware County teen faces a charge of attempted murder.
16- year-old Troy Olen Fogle of Yorktown was charged in the Jan. 8 stabbing of a Wes-Del High School student.
Yorktown police say Fogle stabbed the high school student in the head “for the purpose of killing him”.
Fogle is being held on $50,0000 bond in the Delaware County Jail.
Attempted murder, a level one felony, carries with it a maximum prison sentence of 50 years.
The victim was treated at and later released from I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital.
Police say Fogle’s initial hearing is set for Monday in Delaware Circuit Court.
