New Haven woman seriously hurt in crash

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) A Woodburn woman was hospitalized Friday night after a crash in New Haven.

According to Indiana State Police, Joanne R. Bradtmueller, 59, suffered serious injuries from her SUV colliding with a semi-truck.

Bradtmueller was headed north on Entrance Drive near State Road 930 around 9:30 p.m. Her SUV allegedly ran through a stop sign and entered the intersection at State Road 930, directly into the path of a semi-truck.

Her SUV was hit on its side. Police said even though she was wearing her seatbelt, she suffered multiple broken bones and internal injuries. As of Saturday morning, Bradtmueller was still in serious condition.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
