Kokomo prepares for refreezing temperatures

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH)  – The track of the storm stayed north of Indianapolis, but even where it was forecast to be worse, it wasn’t that bad.

In Kokomo they were expecting up to 9 inches, but because of mid-day rain, they got about 4 inches.

Crews were out clearing the roads Sunday afternoon.

Howard County is under a yellow travel advisory. It’s the lowest of the three, but what it means is that travel could become hazardous and you should take caution when out on the roads.

Another major concerns is refreezing, temperatures are expected to drop tonight and county commissioner Paul Wyman said crews will be out tonight and tomorrow morning to make sure the morning commute goes smoothly.
