Lafayette man shot outside Marathon
TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A man was shot outside of a Marathon store in the early morning hours on Monday.
Lafayette Police Department responded to the scene where they found Aaron Vance, 33, with several gunshot wounds.
Police reported an unidentified black male shot Vance outside of the store, located at 900 Ferry Street. The suspect fled the area after the shooting.
Vance was taken to a local hospital. Officials said he is expected to survive.
The investigation of the shooting continues.
