Family escapes overnight house fire
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 2600 block of South Dawson Street just after midnight on Tuesday.
Officials said Joaquina Flores, 40, woke up to feed her baby when she noticed a fire coming from the back of her home.
Flores then woke up her boyfriend and her two other children to evacuate the home, according to IFD.
IFD had the fire under control in less than thirty minutes.
No injures have been reported.
