Missing Clinton Co. man found dead at scene of crash

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday afternoon that their search for a missing man ended. Police say the man was found deceased at a crash site.

William R. Yoder, 79, was last seen around 2 p.m. Wednesday near Rossville.

At about 2 p.m. Thursday police located Yoder’s vehicle at a crash site on State Road 39 near 200 North. Yoder’s car was found in a creek, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were still investigating the crash Thursday afternoon. An autopsy was pending.
