Woman killed, husband injured in Boone crash
BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A woman is dead after the car she was in crashed into a bridge rail on State Route 47 early Friday night.
Boone County Sheriff’s officials said 74-year-old Janet L. Ehle, of Anderson, Ind., was in the passenger seat of a sedan heading eastbound on SR 47 near County Road 1200.
The crash, which was reported around 4:15 p.m., also injured the woman’s husband, 78-year-old Larry L. Ehle. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital with a leg injury.
Officials said an investigation is ongoing, and a preliminary cause has not been determined.
