Early morning crash closes I-65 in Scott County
SCOTT COUNTY,Ind. (WISH) – An early morning crash closes northbound lanes I-65 in Scott County.
State Police say a call came in just before 2 a.m. that a semi had gone off the road and landed in a ditch.
Police reported the crash happened near mile marker 35.
After police arrived on the scene, they discovered the overturned semi and a large amount of diesel fuel on the road.
Police anticipate the northbound lanes remaining closed for several more hours as they work to clean up the crash site.
State Police say the driver was transported to Scott County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
