Pacers head to New Orleans before All-Star break

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Pacers saw their three game winning streak come to an end Monday night as the defending NBA Champions, the San Antonio Spurs, hit a last second shot to win it.

The Pacers had a 13 point lead in the third quarter, but the Spurs had too many answers to give their coach Greg Popovich his 1000th career win.

“We competed,” said Solomon Hill, Pacers forward. “This loss feels a lot different than losses we have had before.”

“We are feeling pretty good,” added Shayne Wittington, Pacers forward. “I feel like our chemistry is coming along. We are doing a lot of good things on the basketball court. We are trying to put together some good games before the All-Star break, and I think we have. I think our confidence is high right now.”

Pacers take on New Orleans on Wednesday night.
