Crash shuts I-465 on Indy’s south side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – All lanes of Interstate 465 eastbound were shut down on the city’s south side Wednesday evening because of a multi-vehicle crash.
It happened around 4:45 p.m. on eastbound I-465 near US 31 South/East Street.
It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was hurt.
Police said around 5:15 p.m. that all eastbound lanes were back open, but the ramp of South East Street was closed.
Police said the back-up from the crash was about eight miles long.
