Pacers confident at All-Star break

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Pacers are heading into the All-Star break feeling pretty good about themselves.

The Blue and Gold have won four of their past five games. Indiana is now just two games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, despite all the injuries and inconsistencies.

Frank Vogel’s team dominated the Pelicans Wednesday night in New Orleans, leading by as many as 33 points as they rolled to a 106-93 win. The Blue and Gold had four players in double figures.

Despite heading into the All-Star break just 21-33, David West believes this team is moving in the right direction.

“I just think that we are approaching the games the right way,” said West. “Obviously we are getting healthy, guys are getting their games legs underneath and we are approaching these games with the intent to come out and execute, do the things we talk about in the film sessions and try and come out and get wins.”

Indiana is back on the court Feb. 20 n Philadelphia.
